At the campsite Les Prairies de la Mer, in Port Grimaud in the Var, you will find here a multitude of activities to do without having to move, such as sports and water activities or just enjoy the beach with a splendid view of Saint Tropez. Restaurants and bars on the water, heavenly pool, disco and all the amenities on site are the undeniable advantage of a camping holiday at the Prairies de la Mer.

On foot, you can reach in 10 minutes the romantic water side town of Port Grimaud and rent an electric boat to admire the canals or simply enjoy a good ice cream. You can also use the services on the Bateau Verts to take a shuttle boat that will drop you directly on the port of Saint Tropez where you can stroll through its colorful streets, climb to the citadel, live the Provence in its large market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings or search the Madrague of Brigitte Bardot's.

The small tourist train will take you from the campsite to the very pretty and picturesque village of Grimaud, its mill and ruined castle with a beautiful view of the Gulf.

In the surroundings, the beautiful white sand beaches of Salins or Gigaro await you for a beautiful day of relaxation. The more athletic will indulge in the joys of hiking along the coastal path that goes from Saint Tropez to Cavalaire.

The amateurs will follow with pleasure and in moderation the wine route of Saint Tropez which starts with the domains Château Minuty, La Rouillère, Pampelonne, passes by Cogolin and the classified vintage of the Château Saint Maur, then by La Mole and the domains Sainte Marie and Siouvette , and takes you to Bornes mimosas where they compete with many world famous areas like the Ott domain. An hour and a half from your campsite Les Prairies de la Mer, discover the creeks of Cassis or Marseille which are a must-see jewel of the Côte d'Azur region. By boat or hike, they will amaze you with their majesty.

Further north, let yourself be overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of the Gorges du Verdon stretching from Castellane to Moutiers Sainte Marie where you can end your journey by visiting this very pretty village or a little pedalo ride in the entrance of the gorges. . . . Manificent!
