Reservation Conditions

In order to be able to benefit from the services offered by DS One Vacances, we ask you to carefully read the general conditions below. These conditions govern the sale of stays, are valid at the time the order is placed and apply per accommodation and per pitch. Booking a stay implies full acceptance of our general conditions.

Reservation Conditions

The reservation becomes effective, firm and final only with the agreement of DS One Vacances, after the deposit has been withdrawn.

Reservations are only binding by DS One Vacances if DS One Vacances has accepted the reservation, DS One Vacances are free to do so or to refuse, depending on availability and general circumstances likely to harm the execution of the reservation made.

DS One Vacances offers holidays, with accommodations that is specially designed for this purpose. DS One Vacances reserves the right to refuse any reservations which is contrary to this principle, or which seeks to divert it. Reservation of a rental is made on a personal basis. In no case can you sub-let or transfer your reservation without the prior consent of DS One Vacances. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Rental

Accommodation rental : the rented accommodation is equipped. The base rate is from 1 to 6 places depending on the type of rental. DS One Vacances reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families arriving with a larger number of members than the capacity of the accommodation rented, or to increase the cost of the stay accordingly.

Pitch rental : pitches will be located near a water point and eletric point. The base rate is from 1 person for a tent to 2 people for cars, caravans and campervans. DS One Vacances reserves the right to refuse or request a supplement to any family or groups arriving with a larger number of people, tents, cars, caravans or camper-vans greater than the capacity of the pitch.

Tariffs and tourist tax

The prices correspnds to a sum and are given in Euros, all taxes included. Tourist tax is included in the amount of the stay.

Payment Conditions

For reservations made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the amount of the reserved services must be paid upon booking with DS One Vacances. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the date of arrival or upon arrival at our office.

For a reservation made within 30 days preceding the start of the stay, the period granted for the deposit is no longer taken into account and the total amount must be paid.

Cancellation and changes

Changes to your reservation can be made free of charge, subject to availability. In the absence of any message from you indicating a delay to your arrival date, the accommodation or pitch may be put back on sale again 24 hours after the arrival date and you will consequently lose the benefit of your reservation and the amount paid.

Unused services

Any interrupted or shortened stays by you (late arrival, early departure) will not give rise to any refund.

Cancellation by DS One Vacances

In the event of cancellation by DS One Vacances, the amount already paid will be fully refunded. This cancellation cannot, however, give rise to payment of damages and interest. In the event of cancellation following an event constituting of Force Majeure, these conditions may be modified.

Cancellation by the client

In the event of cancellation, we ask you to inform us promptly in writing or by email, with proof.

If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the arrival date, we will refund the full amount paid, excluding reservation costs of 75 euros, in the form of a credit valid for a reservation within 18 months following this cancellation.

If cancellation takes place less than 30 days before your arrival no refund will be made and the balance of the rental will remain due.

Cancellation or interruption due to a weather warning | Camping Parc des Monges

In the event of an orange-level or higher rain/flood weather warning issued by the relevant authorities, safety measures may be implemented as a precaution for holidaymakers staying at campsites located near a watercourse, including the Parc des Monges campsite, situated in a beautiful natural setting near the River Siagne. To ensure everyone’s safety, and in accordance with the decisions of the relevant authorities, an early evacuation of the campsite may be organised if necessary.

This precautionary evacuation will result in a pro-rata refund for unused nights, with nights already spent being deducted. Once the alert is lifted, holidaymakers will have the choice of whether or not to return to complete their stay. If they do return, the remaining nights will be payable.

These specific provisions take precedence over the general cancellation terms and conditions and unused services.

Your holidays

Arrival

The arrival days vary according to the period. Our office on the Camping Prairies de la mer is situated on emplacement N° 3231. Our office for Parc des Monges is located at the entrance of the camping. On the day of your arrival at DS One Vacances, accommodations and pitches will be available as from 4.00pm. However, in case of early arrival and according to our availability, all will be done to reduce waiting times. Upon arrival the card used to pay with must be presented with a piece of matching identification.

A deposit of 200 euros is required from the tenant on arrival for accommodation.

This deposit is usually taken by credit card authorisation. This deposit will be refunded to the customer within 48 hours of the departure date, following a full check of the cleanliness, general condition and inventory of the accommodation.

The management reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit in the event of a breach of hygiene rules and/or damage to the hired equipment. If you do not have a credit card, this deposit may be paid in cash. In this case, the refund will be made by bank transfer under the same conditions as those set out above, i.e. 48 hours after your departure.

An additional deposit of €100 will be required on arrival for any pet, to ensure the property and its grounds are treated with care. This deposit will be refunded at the same time as the deposit for the mobile home rental, i.e. 48 hours after your departure, provided no damage is found.

During your stay

It is up to the holidaymaker to insure themselves. DS One Vacances declines all responsibility in case of theft, fire, storm, bad weather etc., and in the event of an incident relating to the holidaymakers civil liability.

DS One Vacances declines all responsibility concerning valuables, vehicles parked on the site and within the camp site, and any personal effects and objects of the tenant. Safes can be rented from the Prairies de la Mer main reception (Indicative price: €21 per week + € 15 deposit). All clients must comply with the provisions of the internal regulations. Renters are responsible for disturbances and nuisance caused by people staying with them or visiting them.

Departure

Rental accommodations: on the day of departure, the rental accommodation must be vacated by 10.00 am. The accommodation must be left in a perfectly clean condition and the inventory may be checked; you will be liable for any broken or damaged items, as well as for any repairs to the property should this prove necessary. Your deposit will be refunded 48 hours after the end of your stay, less any deductions made against supporting invoices for any damage noted during the final inspection. The deduction of the deposit does not preclude additional compensation should the costs exceed the amount of the deposit. Should the accommodation not have been cleaned prior to your departure, a cleaning fee will be charged (90€ per clean).

Pitches : on the day of departure, the pitches must be vacated before 11 :00am. The pitches are expected to be handed back in the same condition they were rented e.g. free of rubbish. For any delayed departure, you may be billed for an additional day at the current nightly price.

Animals

Animals must be constantly monitored and kept on a leash by their owners during the stay. Any lack of hygiene (cleaning requisites are freely available at reception) or of safety caused by the animal may be sanctioned by the expulsion of its owners. An order by the prefect forbids the presence of any domestic animal on the beach. The vaccination record for dogs and cats must be up to date. Access of category 1 dogs to public transport, public places except for the street and premises open to the public is strictly forbidden. Category 2 dogs must be muzzled and held on a leash by an adult.

The pet deposit payable on arrival also applies to ensure the property and its grounds are treated with respect.

Disputes

In case of dispute, the courts with jurisdiction over the locality of the camp site will be competent. Any complaint concerning a lack of conformity of the services provided compared with contractual obligations must be sent in writing (registered letter with proof of receipt) to the managers of the camp site concerned.

Responsibility of DS One Vacances

The client expressly acknowledges that DS One Vacances will not be held responsible for communication by its partners or by any third party of false information that may be mentioned in the DS One Vacances brochure or website concerning the host site, and in particular the photographs, qualities, activities, entertainment, services and dates of operation. All photos and texts used in the DS One Vacances brochure or on its internet site are non contractual. They are given only for information. It may happen that certain activities and facilities offered by the camp site and indicated in the description in the brochure are suspended, especially for climatic reasons or by reason of force majeure as defined by French courts.

Personal Data

The information you provide to us when placing your order will not be passed on to any third party. This information will be considered by DS One Vacances as confidential. They will be used only by the internal services of DS One Vacances, to process your order and to strengthen and personalize the communication and the services offered to DS One Vacances customers according to your interests, and in accordance to the regulations concerning marketing communication, the law of June 21, 2004 for confidence in the Digital Economy, the Data Protection Act of August 06, 2004 as well as the General Data Protection Regulations.
